On the 25th of February 2014, boko haram perpetrated a mass atrocity in which they killed 43 students at the Federal Government College, (FGC) Buni-Yadi and injured many.
The attack was said to have started at about 11; 30 pm. According to one of the student who escaped said that the insurgents came in 11 Toyota Hilux trucks and attacking the hostels. About 40 houses, hostels, classrooms and staff quarters in the school were burnt.so tragic


8th of March 2014, Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 disappeared, carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew. The Boeing 777 had left Kuala Lumpur at 00.41 for Beijing Airport but lost contact which air traffic controllers at around 01.22am as it crossed the South China Sea. The where about is still unknown.


Nigeria Immigration Recruitment Tragedy: occurred on Saturday March 15, 2014, when 6.5 million people in all 37 states of Nigeria stormed various recruitment centers in the country for the 4000 vacant positions in the Nigeria Immigration Service. At least 16 job seekers were confirmed dead, and several scores of people were injured. The major causes of death was due to overcrowding, stampede, exhaustion, and impatience of the applicants.
