“You Are Not Your Own”
I saw this online and I thought of sharing .......enjoy!
I knew the word of admonishment, discipline, and reproof from last weekend, was to be shared believing mid-next week. After a blog on lessons learned, directed by God through His Holy Spirit. With His lift of the constraint, I believe it is on behalf of Danielle and the current situation they face. May this be used as Christ's desires to His will and good pleasure.
I Cor. 6:19 – “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?”
Do you not know you are not your own?
Whose heart breaks most ones ignored?
Tell me oh man, theirs or Mine?
You write of yourself and speak so well,
Do you wish Me to tell?
If you've thought it you've done it, in heart of hearts,
You made of clay, quit the facade in the play
Are you mean to the young?
Or move among wounded ones?
The world watches you walk and talk,
In these final days, what do they see?
Has your love grown so old,
You throw out in the cold?
You feel wronged though right in your way,
On the cross of Calvary, your price did I pay!
I bore your account, what does it amount?
Those who don't know me, what do they think?
You loudly proclaim My Good News,
While rejecting spirits poor for cross did I bore
At enmity I tore down all walls,
Why erect a fence when called to recompense?
When sin and seek reconcile do I say yes, wait a while?
The relationship has changed, am I not true to my Name?
Look in the mirror, what do you see?
Is the writing on hearts wall, worthy of My call?
Having only good name, will you sacrifice holding a chain?
You looked at others, now losing a brother
From all nations calling My bride, what do they see?
A city on hill or walking in will
Have you grown so numb, you choose not to come?
Is what I speak so weak, no one fears haven fallen on deaf ears?
You oh man, make up your mind Who you will serve, did you deserve?
All I gave, freeing as slaves, do you now return to a cave?
Gird yourselves and be strong for I sent a song,
All belong through Christ Jesus My Son, the Only One
Shrink not from the task, put off the mask,
I hung on the cross for all to be one, yet My will is not done
A new covenant did make, not for My sake,
One precept you choose to forget,
Love one another as I loved you!
My body did bleed; My Word is not heed,
The world knows your Mine in loving each other,
Why so hard giving grace to a brother?
Does not love cover a multitude of sin?
In this My victory you win!
Right in your eyes choosing to ostracize,
Did you counsel with Me or do as you please?
Now listen to me, I plead with the other
Come in now love your brother!
